Custom Orders

All our pieces are handcrafted, and custom works typically take 8–16 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the order. Please choose your design carefully, as once production begins, changes or cancellations are not possible.

Product Lead Times
  • In-stock furniture: 1–3 business days (subject to courier availability)
  • Large or custom items: 2–3 weeks from pickup to delivery
Shipping & Delivery Options

During checkout, you may select:

  • Delivery – shipped to your address
  • Local Pickup – collect from our studio

Please note, shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Delivery timeframes vary depending on location and courier.

Cancellation Policy

We strive to dispatch orders as quickly as possible—sometimes within 1 hour of purchase. If you need to make any changes, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

Bhavana Timber reserves the right to cancel any order at any time. Once an order is placed and payment is processed, cancellations are not possible.

Refunds, Exchanges & Returns

Please choose carefully, as most of our pieces are made-to-order and cannot be refunded for change of mind. All orders are also final during production.

Requests to change orders after placement will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on production stage. Administration fees may apply.

Exchanges / Store Credit

If an item does not meet your expectations, we can offer an exchange for store credit or a different product of equivalent value, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. Items are in their original packaged condition
  2. Items are undamaged and unused
  3. A copy of the original invoice is provided
  4. Bhavana Timber is contacted within 7 days of receiving the goods at [email protected]

Returned items will be inspected before issuing a store credit for the original product value, excluding shipping. Return shipping costs are at your expense. Processing may take 2–3 business days.

Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact [email protected] within 2 days of receiving the item. Please provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos of the faulty item

All faulty items will be assessed upon return, and replacement or resolution will be determined by Bhavana Timber.

Timber Care

Our timber is sourced from Australian and international recycled/reclaimed hardwood, meaning each piece is unique. Variations in colour, grain, and texture are natural and not considered faults.

  • Avoid direct sunlight and moisture
  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth
  • Follow care instructions provided
Warranty

As all products are handmade and natural, we do not offer an unconditional warranty. Defective products may be replaced under the following conditions:

  • Furniture: within 6 months of delivery
  • Other items: within 1 month of delivery

This warranty applies only to normal household use. Improper, negligent, or commercial use voids the warranty. Photographic evidence is required for all warranty claims.

Inventory

Occasionally, technical errors may cause inventory discrepancies. If an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you promptly to offer a full refund or an alternative solution.
